A Long History in Northern NJ

The Pet Adoption League was formed in 1937 and incorporated in 1958! PAL is a non-profit, 501c3, completely volunteer, no-kill animal rescue.  PAL relies solely on donations from caring individuals and EVERY PENNY raised goes towards the care of our cats. None of PAL's Board members or its volunteers are paid and we pride ourselves on finding forever homes for all the cats in our care, no matter how long it may take. We are a dedicated and determined group of individuals who find joy in making sure the cats who come to our rescue feel safe and loved.

A Long History in Northern NJ

The Pet Adoption League depends on its team of caring volunteers to make our rescue run.  Right now, we have approximately 50 volunteers who help out with things like fostering, fundraising, baking, transporting our cats to veterinary appointments and maintaining our adoption areas at PetSmart and Whole Pets Market.

    WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!

    OUR COMMUNITY PET PARTNERS

Because PAL does not have a building to run its daily operations from, we rely upon adoption space at local pet supply stores. Currently, PetSmart in Mt. Olive, NJ and Whole Pets Market in Mansfield, NJ have graciously designated us as a Charitable Partner. This gives PAL the opportunity to have our cats seen by potential families, ultimately finding them loving forever homes.

    WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS!

PAL currently has nine volunteer board members who meet on a monthly basis. We discuss topics such as finances, fundraisers, volunteer recruiting, adoption events and, most importantly, we talk about the needs of the cats who find themselves in our care.
